Servings: 4
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Sushi rice
- 10 Sheets Nori (Seaweed Paper)
- 1 Whole Cucumber
- 1 Whole Carrot
- 1 Whole Avocado
- 1 Whole Bell pepper
- as per taste Soy Sauce
- as per taste Wasabi
Instructions:
- Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool down slightly.
- Slice cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, and avocado into thin long strips.
- Place a sheet of Nori on a bamboo mat (if available), with rough side facing upwards.
- Wet your hands and grab a handful of sushi rice. Spread it evenly over the lower two-thirds of the nori sheet, leaving the top third empty.
- Place a variety of vegetables in a line across the rice, near the edge closest to you.
- Begin rolling the temaki from the bottom, taking care not to squeeze too hard and rip the nori. Roll until all of the rice and vegetables are securely inside.
- Moisten the top edge of the nori with a little water to seal the roll.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the temaki into bite-size pieces, if desired. Or you can eat them as larger hand rolls.
- Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
