Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Raw Rice
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Whole Onion
  • 2 Whole Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the carrots and peas, and continue to cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and add the cooked rice to the other side. Stir fry for a couple of minutes to lightly toast the rice.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and vegetables. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Continue to cook for a few more minutes, stirring frequently, until everything is well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve the fried rice hot as a snack or a hearty main meal.
