Ingredients:
- 2 fillets Unagi (grilled eel)
- 4 cups Cooked rice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons sake
- 2 sliced green onions
- 1 tablespoon pickled ginger
- 1 teaspoon wasabi
Instructions:
- Begin by mixing the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sake together in a bowl. This will form your sauce.
- Next, heat your unagi (eel) in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until it's heated through.
- While waiting for the eel to heat, you can prepare your rice. Once the rice is cooked, divide it equally among four bowls.
- When the eel is ready, cut it into smaller pieces and place them on top of the rice.
- Drizzle your soy-based sauce all over the eel and rice.
- Garnish with green onions, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
- Serve your Unagi Donburi while it's warm and enjoy this delicious exotic Japanese lunch!
