Thai Spicy Prawn Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams Pasta (any type)
  • 300 grams Prawns
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 whole Garlic cloves
  • 2 whole Red Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Thai Green Curry Paste
  • 1 cup Sweet Basil Leaves
  • 250 milliliters Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • half lime Lime Juice
  • to taste Salt

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Mix in chopped garlic and chopped chillies.
  3. Add prawns to the pan and cook until they turn pink.
  4. Add the Thai green curry paste and mix well.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk. Bring the mix to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the fish sauce, brown sugar, and basil leaves. Cook for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix thoroughly.
  8. Remove from heat and squeeze the lime juice over the pasta. Mix well.
  9. The Thai Spicy Prawn Pasta is ready to serve!
