Thai Spicy Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Beef sirloin strips
  • 4 whole cloves Garlic cloves
  • 4 whole chilies Bird's eye chili
  • 3 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 bunch Holy basil leaves
  • 1 whole pepper Red bell pepper
  • 1 whole onion Onion

Instructions:

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips, chop the garlic, de-seed and chop the bird's eye chili.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large pan. Add the garlic and chili and fry for a minute.
  4. Add the beef to the pan and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in the sauce mixture and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped bell pepper, onion, and basil leaves. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve hot with steamed white rice.
