Thai Mango Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 pcs Green Mango
  • 2 pcs Fresh Red Chili
  • 1 pcs Shallot
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted Peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons Palm Sugar
  • 1 pcs Lime

Instructions:

  1. Peel off the green mangoes and shred them into thin strings using a vegetable shredder.
  2. Slice shallots and red chilies into thin slices. Please bear in mind that the amount of chili determines the levels of spiciness of your salad.
  3. On a medium heat pan, toast the dried shrimp until golden brown. Set it aside.
  4. To make the sauce, squeeze the lime and mix the juice with palm sugar and fish sauce. Stir until the palm sugar is dissolved.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, put together shredded mango, sliced shallots, chilies, toasted dried shrimp, and roasted peanuts.
  6. Pour the sauce into the mixing bowl and toss well.
  7. Serve your exotic Thai mango salad chilled.
