Thai Comfort Food: Kai Jeow (Thai Style Omelette)

Ingredients:

  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 2 Thai chilies
  • 2 cups Cooked jasmine rice

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs well, add in the fish sauce and oyster sauce. Set aside.
  2. Slice the red onion, green onions and Thai chilies. Add into the egg mixture. Mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once oil is hot, pour in the egg mixture.
  4. Let it cook without disturbing until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Flip the omelette and cook on the other side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve the Kai Jeow over the jasmine rice. Enjoy!
