Thai Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Boneless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Thai basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fish sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili flakes

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken into thin strips.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.
  3. Add the garlic and stir-fry for a minute.
  4. Add chicken and stir-fry until it's no longer pink.
  5. Add the onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for a few more minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sugar, fish sauce, and red chili flakes. Pour this over the chicken and veggies.
  7. Stir in the basil leaves and cook for another minute.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
