
Thai Beef Salad

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Beef sirloin steak
- 2 stalks Lemongrass
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Palm sugar
- to taste Chili flakes
- 4 cups Mixed salad greens
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
- 1 small Cucumber
- 1 small Red onion
- 1 handful Mint leaves
- 1 handful Cilantro leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill or broiler. Season the steak with salt and pepper and cook to your desired level of doneness. Once finished, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
- To make the dressing, pound the lemongrass and garlic together in a mortar and pestle until they form a paste. Add the fish sauce, lime juice, palm sugar, and chili flakes and stir until well combined.
- Chop the salad greens, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, mint leaves, and cilantro and place them in a large salad bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well.
- Top the salad with the sliced beef and serve immediately.
