
Thai Beef Basil Stir Fry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams lean beef steak
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 red chili
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cups basil leaves
- 2 cups jasmine rice
Instructions:
- Cut the beef into thin strips.
- Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until browned, and then remove it from the wok.
- Add the garlic, chili, and bell peppers to the wok, and stir-fry until the garlic is golden.
- Return the beef to the wok, and then add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir-fry until the beef is coated in the sauce and the sugar has melted.
- Stir in the basil leaves until they are wilted.
- Serve the stir fry over the jasmine rice.
