Servings: 4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 piece Salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Take a small amount of the sauce and set aside for glazing the fish later. To the remaining sauce in the pan, add the cornstarch and water mixture, stirring until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
  4. Marinate the salmon fillets in half of this thickened sauce for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the salmon fillets skin side down for about 5-6 minutes.
  7. Turn the fillets, brush them with the set aside sauce and grill for another 4-5 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
