Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 inches fresh ginger
  • 2 stalks scallions
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, mirin, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the Teriyaki sauce.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in the Teriyaki sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 10 minutes on each side, or until done.
  4. Pour the remaining Teriyaki sauce over the cooked chicken and allow it to simmer until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Garnish the Teriyaki Chicken with chopped scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
