Szechuan Spicy Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Chinese Egg Noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 3 pcs Spring Onions
  • 1 pcs Red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Szechuan Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and spring onions, sauteing until fragrant.
  3. Slice the bell pepper and add it to the wok, cooking until it softens slightly. This should take 2-3 minutes.
  4. In the wok, combine the cooked noodles, soy sauce, Szechuan sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Toss everything together on high heat until the noodles are well coated in the spicy sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with more spring onions or sesame seeds if desired.
