
Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Pork
- 1 piece Green bell pepper
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 can Pineapple chunks
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/3 cup White vinegar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Ketchup
- for frying Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
- Cut the pork into 1-inch pieces and toss them in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- In a deep pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil and fry the pork pieces until golden brown. Remove them and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the garlic, bell pepper, and onion until tender.
- Add the pineapple chunks (with juice), vinegar, sugar, and ketchup to the pan. Bring it to a simmer.
- Return the fried pork to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce. Cook for another couple of minutes until everything is well combined.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
