Summer Morning Italian Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 Pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasonings
  • 2 Pieces Fresh tomatoes
  • 1 Cup Low-fat Mozzarella cheese
  • To taste Fresh basil leaves
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Brush each side of the chicken with olive oil and season with garlic, Italian seasonings, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake chicken in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  4. While the chicken is baking, slice tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Remove chicken from oven, top with tomatoes and mozzarella slices. Bake for another 20 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
