Servings: 4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Pork loin
  • 1 piece Green bell pepper
  • 1 piece Red bell pepper
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1/2 piece Pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 50 ml Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pork loin into 1-inch cubes. Dice the peppers, onion, and pineapple into similar-sized pieces.
  2. In a wok or large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the pork cubes and stir-fry until they begin to brown.
  3. Add the peppers and onion to the wok. Stir-fry for another two minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  4. Add the pineapple, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine, then reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Slowly drizzle this into the wok, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the stir-fried pork over steamed rice for a complete meal.
