Squid Ink Linguine with Clams

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Squid ink linguine
  • 2 pounds Clams
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup White wine
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley
  • 1 whole Lemon

Instructions:

  1. 1. Rinse the clams under cold running water while scrubbing with a brush. Discard any clams that do not close when tapped.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan, stirring until the garlic is golden.
  3. 3. Add the white wine to the pan and bring it to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the clams and cover the pan. Cook until all clams have opened completely, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5. In a separate pot, cook the squid ink linguine according to the package's directions. Drain well.
  6. 6. Add cooked linguine to the pan with clams. Toss until pasta is evenly coated with sauce.
  7. 7. Season with salt as per your preference. Add in chopped fresh parsley and squeeze the lemon over the top.
  8. 8. Serve immediately.
