Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Ingredients:

  • 24 pieces Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 2 cups Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 item Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, spinach, Parmesan cheese, egg, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the bottom of a large baking dish.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with a generous spoonful of the ricotta mixture, then arrange in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the leftover marinara sauce over the pasta shells. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 25 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
