
Spicy Yakitori Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds Boneless Chicken Thighs
- 0.5 cups Soy Sauce
- 0.5 cups Mirin
- 1 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 pcs Garlic Cloves
- 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
- 1.5 teaspoon Red Chilli Flakes
- 4 pcs Green Onions
- 10 pcs Skewers
Instructions:
- Soak the skewers in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, finely grated garlic, grated ginger, and red chilli flakes. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and skewer them. Make sure to leave a little space between the pieces so they can cook evenly.
- On a pre-heated grill (medium heat), start grilling the skewered chicken. Brush the sauce frequently to keep them moist and so they can absorb the flavors.
- Grill the skewers for about 5 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
