
Spicy Vegetable Pakoras

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Gram flour (Besan)
- as needed Water
- 1 large Potato
- 1 large Onion
- 1 cup Spinach
- 2 Green chilies
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- to taste Salt
- for deep frying Oil
Instructions:
- Slice the potato, onion, chilies, and ginger thinly. Chop the spinach finely.
- In a large bowl, mix the gram flour, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
- Gradually add water to the mixture until it forms a thick batter.
- Add the vegetables to the batter and mix well.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan. When the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the oil.
- Fry the pakoras until they are golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
- Serve the hot pakoras with ketchup or chutney.
