Spicy Thai Pork Breakfast Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 pieces Red chili peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 3 stalks Spring Onion
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cups Jasmine rice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  2. While rice is cooking, chop the pork into thin, bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar.
  4. Mince the garlic and chop the chili peppers. If you want the dish less spicy, remove the seeds.
  5. In a wok or large frying pan, heat up the cooking oil. Add in the garlic and chili peppers, stirring quickly for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add the chopped pork to the pan, stirring occasionally until lightly browned.
  7. Pour in the prepared sauce mixture, making sure the pork is well-coated.
  8. When the pork is almost done, add the chopped spring onions and basil leaves, stirring until they wilt.
  9. Serve the stir-fry over the cooked jasmine rice. Enjoy your spicy Thai pork breakfast stir-fry.
