Spicy Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai)

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 4 items Thai chilies
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp White sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Chop the chicken into small pieces.
  2. Chop the garlic and the chilies.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok.
  4. Add the garlic and chilies and fry until fragrant.
  5. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
  6. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar and stir well.
  7. When the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is well-mixed, add the basil leaves.
  8. Cook until the leaves are wilted.
  9. Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
