Spicy Szechuan Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound Pork loin
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Szechuan peppercorn
  • 2 pieces Red chilli peppers
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Start by cutting the pork loin into thin strips, then set aside.
  2. Next, mince the garlic and ginger, slice the red chilli peppers and green onions, and grind the Szechuan peppercorns.
  3. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix until the sugar and cornstarch are fully dissolved.
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the minced garlic, ginger, sliced chilli peppers, and ground peppercorns and stir-fry for about a minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced pork to the pan and continue stir-frying for 5-7 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and continue stirring until the sauce thickens (about 2 minutes).
  7. Finally, garnish with the sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy your Spicy Szechuan Pork!
