Spicy Szechuan Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Boneless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Szechuan peppercorns
  • 3 Red chili peppers
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 inches Ginger
  • 2 sticks Green onion
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces. In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces, cornstarch and soy sauce. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Crush the Szechuan peppercorns and chop the red chili peppers, garlic, ginger and green onions.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the Szechuan peppercorns, red chili peppers, garlic, ginger and green onions. Stir fry for a few minutes until the ingredients release their aroma.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan. Stir fry for about 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and has absorbed the flavors of the spices.
