Spicy Midnight Sushi Roll

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sushi rice
  • 200 grams Raw tuna
  • 2 teaspoons Wasabi
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 4 sheets Seaweed sheet
  • 4 pieces Pickled ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce

Instructions:

  1. 1. Cook the sushi rice according to the instructions on the package. Let it cool.
  2. 2. Prepare the raw tuna by cutting it into thin strips.
  3. 3. Mix wasabi with a little water to create a paste.
  4. 4. Lay out the seaweed sheets on a bamboo mat. Spread the cooked rice evenly over the seaweed, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  5. 5. Place a strip of tuna and a dollop of wasabi paste along the center of the rice. Pour a touch of soy sauce.
  6. 6. Gently but tightly roll up the sushi using the bamboo mat, tucking in the ingredients as you roll. Moisten the border with a little water to seal the roll.
  7. 7. Using a very sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.
  8. 8. Drizzle Sriracha sauce over the sushi rolls and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
  9. 9. Serve immediately with pickled ginger and extra soy sauce.
