Spicy Midnight Biryani

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 piece Chicken breast
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 3 pieces Green chilly
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • To taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

Instructions:

  1. First, rinse the basmati rice under running water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water and set it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the finely chopped onions and green chillies. Fry until they turn golden brown.
  3. Now, add the chicken pieces to the pan. Stir and cook until the chicken turns white.
  4. Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Stir everything well and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Drain the rice and add it to the pan. Stir gently to combine everything. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Finally, add two tablespoons of yogurt to the pan. Stir it well and cover the pan. Let it cook for the next 10-15 minutes or until the rice is well cooked.
  7. Your Spicy Midnight Biryani is ready. Serve it hot and enjoy your midnight cravings!
