Spicy Midnight Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Beef steak
  • 2 tablespoons Dark soy sauce
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Inch Piece of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 Green bell pepper
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1/2 White onion

Instructions:

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips and marinate with the soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger and red pepper flakes for around 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Once hot, add the vegetable oil.
  3. When the oil is heated, add the marinated beef and stir-fry for a few minutes until it is seared on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the sliced green bell pepper, red bell pepper and onion. Stir-fry for around 5 minutes until they are slightly softened.
  5. Add the cooked beef back into the pan, along with oyster sauce. Stir everything together for a couple of minutes until everything is well combined.
  6. Serve the Spicy Midnight Beef Stir-Fry hot with some plain steamed rice if desired.
