Spicy Mexican Street Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 8 pieces Corn tortillas
  • 1lb Choice of protein (chicken, beef, or shrimp)
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro
  • 2 pieces Lime
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Chop the onion and cilantro, set aside.
  2. In a heated skillet, cook the protein over medium heat until fully cooked. Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper during the process.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or directly over the stovetop flame to get some chars.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked protein on the warmed tortilla, followed by the chopped onion, cilantro. Squeeze a lime wedge over each taco.
  5. Serve immediately, with extra lime wedges on the side if desired.
