
Spicy Masala Prawns Indian Breakfast

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Jumbo Prawns
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 Sprig Curry leaves
- 2 medium, finely chopped Onions
- 2 slit Green chillies
- 5 cloves, chopped Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Firstly, clean the prawns and marinate them with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Set them aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and add the mustard seeds. Once they begin to sputter, add curry leaves.
- Add in the finely chopped onions and green chillies to the pan and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
- Next, add the chopped garlic to the pan and sauté until it turns golden brown.
- Add in the marinated prawns to the pan and mix well. Cook the prawns on low heat till they are completely cooked.
- Sprinkle the garam masala powder over the prawns and give it a good stir. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
- Serve the spicy masala prawns with hot steamed rice or a side of parantha for a hearty Indian breakfast.
