
Spicy Mandarin Chicken

Ingredients:
- 800 grams Chicken breast, boneless & skinless
- 2 cups Mandarin oranges
- 1 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the mandarin oranges, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water to create a slurry, then stir it into the sauce. Continue to simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the mandarin orange sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Serve the spicy mandarin chicken with rice or noodles, garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired, and enjoy your flavorful Chinese dinner!
