
Spicy Japanese Rice Bowl

Ingredients:
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 4 cups water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 sprigs chopped green onions
- 5 pieces sliced radishes
- 4 pieces halved boiled eggs
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice under cold water until water runs clear. This is to remove the excess starch.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the rice and reduce the heat to low, cover the pot and let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
- While the rice is cooking, in a separate bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to make the spicy sauce.
- Once the rice is done, divide it into 4 serving bowls.
- Drizzle the spicy sauce evenly over each bowl of rice. Top with green onions, radishes and halved boiled eggs.
- Serve your spicy Japanese rice bowl immediately while hot and enjoy!
