
Spicy Japanese Pork Ramen

Ingredients:
- 1 kg Pork shoulder
- 2 lt Low sodium chicken broth
- 0.5 cup Soy sauce
- 4 Garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp Chili oil
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 4 packets Ramen noodles
- 3 Green onions
- 4 Boiled eggs
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- In a large pot, add the pork shoulder, chicken broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, chili oil, and sesame oil. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for about 2 hours, or until the pork is very tender.
- While the soup is simmering, you can prepare the toppings. Slice the green onions and set aside. On a separate plate, cut the boiled eggs in half.
- After the soup has simmered for 2 hours, remove the pork from the pot and shred it using two forks. Then, return the shredded pork to the pot.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the packet instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- To serve, divide the ramen noodles among 4 bowls. Ladle the broth and pork over the noodles. Garnish with the sesame seeds, green onions, and a halved boiled egg.
- Enjoy your spicy Japanese pork ramen while hot, but be careful, as it's quite spicy!
