Spicy Japanese Pork Donburi

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Pork loin
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger
  • 4 cups Cooked rice
  • 4 Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, brown sugar, gochujang, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and everything is well combined.
  2. Slice the pork loin thinly and put it in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the marinated pork over medium heat until it's fully cooked.
  4. Serve the pork over cooked rice, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
