
Spicy Japanese Midnight Udon Noodles

Ingredients:
- 200 grams Udon Noodles
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Mirin
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes
- 2 stalks Spring Onions
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
- Firstly, cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- While the noodles are cooking, mix the soy sauce, mirin and sugar together in a small bowl and set aside.
- Finely chop the garlic and thinly slice the spring onions.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Then, add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Introduce chili flakes to the pan and stir with the garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture into the pan and stir well to combine.
- Finally, add the cooked noodles into the pan and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
