
Spicy Japanese Fruit Stir Fry

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced assorted fruits (like pineapple, apple, and pear)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1 whole lime
- a handful fresh basil
Instructions:
- 1. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, siracha sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil.
- 2. Mince the garlic and ginger and add them to the sauce. Mix well.
- 3. Heat a frying pan or wok over medium heat and add the sauce. Let it heat for a minute until it starts to bubble.
- 4. Add the sliced fruits to the pan and stir until they are covered in the sauce. Let it cook for about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruits are cooked but still maintain some crunch.
- 5. Squeeze the juice of the lime over the stir fry and mix in the fresh basil leaves. Serve hot.
