Spicy Japanese Chicken Ramen for Midnight Cravings

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 200 grams Ramen noodles
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 stems Spring onions
  • 2 pieces Boiled eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • to taste Chilli flakes

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into thin slices and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, mirin, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer.
  3. In a skillet, cook the chicken slices until they are no longer pink.
  4. Once the broth is simmering, add the cooked chicken slices and ramen noodles. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the noodles are al dente.
  5. Chop the spring onions and set aside.
  6. Peel the boiled eggs and set aside.
  7. Serve the ramen in two bowls. Top with sliced boiled eggs, chilli flakes, sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
