Spicy Japanese Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Beef sirloin
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sake
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 4 stalks Spring onions
  • 2 pieces Bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Cut the beef into thin slices.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sake, mirin, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Marinate the beef in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan.
  5. Add the beef and stir fry for 5 minutes or until seared on all sides.
  6. Add the bell peppers and spring onions, stir fry for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the stir fry over steamed rice, garnishing with additional spring onions if desired.
