Spicy Italian Shrimp Frittata

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Large Shrimp
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Clean and devein the shrimp, then set them aside.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. 5. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook until it becomes aromatic.
  6. 6. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  7. 7. Pour the egg mixture over the shrimp and stir to combine.
  8. 8. Sprinkle the basil leaves on top of the frittata.
  9. 9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top of the frittata is slightly browned.
  10. 10. Remove the frittata from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
