Spicy Italian Pork Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Boneless pork chops
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 pieces Sub rolls
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese slices
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce

Instructions:

  1. Combine Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture over the pork chops.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until done.
  3. While the pork is cooking, place the sub rolls on a baking sheet and toast lightly in the oven.
  4. Place two slices of provolone on the bottom half of each roll and top with a pork chop.
  5. Spoon some marinara sauce over each pork chop. Cover with the top half of the roll.
  6. Serve while still hot.
