Spicy Italian Frutta Piccante

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Assorted fruits (berries, apple, pear, orange)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried red chilli flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4-5 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Firstly, wash and cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces. Set them aside.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the dried red chilli flakes and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the cut fruits to the pan. Sauté for a couple of minutes until they get warm and start to soften, stirring gently.
  4. Add honey to the pan and stir gently to coat the fruits.
  5. Finally, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves on top and cover the pan. Let it cook for another couple of minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Serve your Spicy Italian Frutta Piccante immediately for a delicious midnight snack.
