Total Time: 6 hours 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds Chuck roast
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1.5 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 cloves Garlic cloves
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 8 slices Provolone cheese
- 16 buns Slider buns
Instructions:
- Season the chuck roast with the Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes. Sear on all sides in a hot pan, then transfer to a slow cooker.
- Add the garlic cloves and beef broth to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the beef can be easily shredded with a fork.
- Shred the beef and stir it in the cooking juices. Preheat your oven to broil.
- Assemble the sliders: place a generous amount of beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a slice of provolone cheese, then place the top half of the bun on top.
- Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Watch them closely to avoid burning.
- Serve the sliders hot, with a side of the cooking juices for dipping if desired.
