Servings: 8

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 6 hours

Total Time: 6 hours 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Chuck roast
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1.5 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese
  • 16 buns Slider buns

Instructions:

  1. Season the chuck roast with the Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes. Sear on all sides in a hot pan, then transfer to a slow cooker.
  2. Add the garlic cloves and beef broth to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the beef can be easily shredded with a fork.
  3. Shred the beef and stir it in the cooking juices. Preheat your oven to broil.
  4. Assemble the sliders: place a generous amount of beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a slice of provolone cheese, then place the top half of the bun on top.
  5. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Watch them closely to avoid burning.
  6. Serve the sliders hot, with a side of the cooking juices for dipping if desired.
