Spicy Indian-Style Pasta Snack

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green Chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • a bunch Fresh Coriander
  • to taste Salt

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic, onion, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn soft and golden.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala to the pan. Stir well to mix the spices with the sautéed onions.
  4. Chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture starts to thicken.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well, making sure the pasta is covered in the spicy sauce.
  6. Season with salt and garnish with freshly chopped coriander before serving.
