
Spicy Indian Shrimp Curry

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Shrimp
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 large Onion
- 3 pieces Garlic cloves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 medium Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Red chili powder
- 2 teaspoons Garam masala
- to taste Salt
- 1 can Coconut milk
- for garnish Cilantro
Instructions:
- Peel and devein the shrimp. Start to heat the oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pan. Cook until the onion is soft.
- Once the onion is soft, add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Stir until the spices are well mixed with the other ingredients.
- Add the coconut milk to the pan. Stir until the curry is creamy and thick.
- Add the shrimp to the curry. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
- Remove the pan from heat. Garnish the curry with cilantro before serving.
