
Spicy Indian Samosas

Ingredients:
- 2 medium sized Potatoes
- 1/2 cup Peas
- 1 medium sized Onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- to taste Salt
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Water
- for frying Oil
Instructions:
- Peel and dice the potatoes and onions. Cook the potatoes in a boiling water until they become soft.
- In a pan, cook the chopped onions until they become translucent. Then add the turmeric, chili powder, garam masala and peas. Cook until the peas are soft. Add the cooked potatoes and mix well.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour with water to make a dough. Knead the dough until it's smooth.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into thin circles. Cut each circle in half.
- Take one half of the circle, fold it into a cone shape and fill it with the potato mixture. Seal the edges with a little water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until they become golden brown. Drain the samosas on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the spicy Indian samosas with coriander chutney or ketchup.
