
Spicy Indian Rice Snacks (Chawal Ki Tikki)

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 3 tbsp Gram flour (Besan)
- 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
- 2 finely chopped Green chilies
- 1/2 cup, chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
- to taste Salt
- for shallow frying Oil
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, gram flour, chopped onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt. Mix them well.
- Combine the mixture to make a dough. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water.
- Take a small portion of the dough and flatten it between your palms to make a flat, round disc.
- Repeat this process to make more discs with the rest of the dough.
- Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying. Once the oil is hot, gently drop the discs into the oil.
- Fry the discs on a medium flame until they turn golden brown. Flip them over and fry the other side as well.
- Once done, remove the discs from the oil and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the Spicy Indian Rice Snacks hot with a dip of your choice!
