
Spicy Indian Fish Curry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Fish fillets
- 1 Big Onion
- 1 Cup Tomato puree
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Grated ginger
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 Teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 200 ml Coconut milk
- 2 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
- To taste Salt
- For garnishing Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Saute finely chopped onions until they turn golden brown.
- Add crushed garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Stir well and cook until their raw smell goes away.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook until oil appears on the top.
- Add fish fillets to the pan. Coat them well with the masala and cook for about 5 minutes until the fish becomes tender.
- Add coconut milk and let the curry simmer for few minutes. Taste the curry and adjust the salt if necessary.
- Turn off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve the spicy Indian fish curry hot with steamed rice for a delectable midnight meal.
