
Spicy Indian Chicken Curry

Ingredients:
- 1 Kg Chicken
- 2 Large Onion
- 2 Medium Tomato
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3 Green chilies
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1.5 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tbsp Oil
- To taste Salt
- Few Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Clean and cut the chicken into pieces.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until they turn golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and chopped green chilies to the pan and cook until the tomatoes are mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan. Mix well with the masala. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10-15 mins.
- Add water as required, cover the pan and cook for another 15-20 mins or until the chicken is cooked well and the gravy is thickened.
- Add Garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 mins. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or bread.
