Spicy French Roasted Chicken

Ingredients:
- 1 piece Whole chicken
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 piece Lemon
- 5 sprigs Fresh thyme
- 6 piece Garlic cloves
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375° F (190° C).
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, black pepper.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, then rub it all over with the olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture all over the chicken.
- Inside the chicken cavity, stuff the lemon (cut in half), fresh thyme sprigs, and garlic cloves.
- Place the chicken on a roasting rack in a roasting pan, breast side up.
- Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve it hot.
