Spicy French Rice Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the onion.
  2. Heat the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes to the saucepan. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the rice and let it toast for a few minutes.
  5. Add the chicken broth to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer until the rice is cooked.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Allow the rice to sit for a few minutes prior to serving.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy french rice snack!
