Spicy French Hake With Harissa

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Hake fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Rub the harissa paste onto the Hake fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.
  3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it is fragrant.
  4. Add the Hake fillets to the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the skin begins to crisp.
  5. Once the skin is crisp, flip the fish fillets. Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven, and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Season the fish fillets with salt, black pepper, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Serve hot.
